Climate change is one of the biggest global challenges that will shape the way the world does business now, and in the coming decades. The private sector has a responsibility to take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to help lead the global transition to a low-carbon, climate resilient economy. ​The World Economic Forum's Alliance of climate leaders is a coalition of CEO's from around the world and from across industry sectors committed to delivering concrete climate solutions and innovations in their practices, operations and policies.

Jesper Brodin (CEO Ingka Group/IKEA) and Christian Mumenthaler (CEO Swiss Re) took on the role of Co-chairs to the Alliance in June 2020, joining founding member Feike Sijbesma and special advisor, Rich Lesser.
