Reinsurance in action Protecting Venice from high tides

We were selected as lead reinsurer for Project MOSE, which works with measures including coastal reinforcement and the raising of quaysides to protect Venice and the lagoon from flooding. We assessed the risks for the insurer and provided large-capacity cover over more than 10 years of construction.
