About the Role

To provide Program Management Services to allocated on all Captive Accounts and allocated Complex Accounts from the International Portfolio.

Managing the end to end process in accordance with the International Program Guidelines on some International Accounts. To work with International Program Operations to ensure that all administrative activities in connection with global programs are carried out in time and to a high level of quality

Where required prepare timely processing instructions to the International Program Service Unit, Credit Control, Reinsurance, so that premiums can be debited and policies issued promptly, ensuring accurate policy records are maintained on Swiss Re Corso systems. The role also involves working closely with Credit Control, International Programs Processing Service Unit and other Swiss Re Corso departments to ensure resolution of accounting and processing problems.

To ensure that Swiss Re Corso Service Standards are met and, if possible, exceeded in the implementation of Global Programs.

To provide advice and coaching where appropriate to the International Programs Underwriting Assistants.

To build strong relationships with Clients, their brokers and become the focal and contact point for all service matters relating to their accounts.

To play a leading role at client and / or broker stewardship or new business meetings by providing an overview of Swiss Ro Corso global servicing capabilities.

To work closely with Customer and Distribution Managers, and Underwriters to assist on winning new business acquisitions and all appropriate business support activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To ensure that all handled programs are implemented to agreed service standards and corporate guidelines.
  2. Providing clearance to quote to Controlling Offices and offering guidance on rating for quotations for Mandatory Local Quoted Coverages i.e Terrorism when requested to do so.
  3. Account handling and supporting Customer and Distribution Managers, and Underwriter's on relevant account/activities.
  4. Communicating and building relationships with Underwriters, Clients, Brokers, Swiss Re Corso Offices and other external parties.
  5. Ensuring renewal terms are obtained from Controlling Underwriters and information passed to and agreed with the local Client/Broker as necessary.
  6. To work within the framework of Swiss Re Corso ethical and service standards.
  7. Assist where required with ongoing Projects that are identified throughout a given year for better improvement to the International Program Department.
  8. Incidental work that may be required to be completed that may be outside the scope to day to day work requirements.

About You

Qualifications

A-Levels Standard or equivalent is desirable

Chartered Insurance Institute – Insurance Certificate is desirable

Language capability

A foreign language would be an advantage.

Work Experience in Insurance Industry essential

Ideally some experience of servicing multinational insurance programmes,would be good, but not essential
