About the Role

You will act as the driver, helping the teams to shape and implement key initiatives.

The specific duties of the role are as follows: 

• Drive the delivery of assigned initiatives and transformation projects as required by the L&H Re strategy, including overseeing initiatives planning and execution (e.g. transformation programs, business reviews, target operating models, etc.).
• Lead complex projects and programmes. Present a compelling case for change and plan projects to align people around goals and agree on effort, deliverables and timelines to ensure benefits realisation.
• Be a champion of implementing best practices and standards of project, program and portfolio management across L&H Reinsurance.
• Build strong and active relationships with key stakeholders across L&H while working in a team that drives transformation in L&H Reinsurance.

About the Team

L&H Business Advisory is driving change and sustainable performance for the Life & Health business unit by providing commercial advice and support to key stakeholders in L&H, running all central governance processes for the business unit, enabling a meaningful resource allocation to support the L&H strategy and empowering the market units to take fast and targeted decisions. The Transformation & Initiatives team is part of the L&H Business Advisory team and is championing and enabling excellence in project delivery and execution of strategic priorities.

About You

• You have 5+ years of experience in management consulting, professional services, or project management, especially in project, program, and transformation management within the insurance industry. Experience in Life & Health insurance and reinsurance is a plus.
• You excel in analyzing, articulating, and defining the requirements of business ideas; driving data gathering and evaluation, as well as developing specific artefacts to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution.
• You have successfully managed projects and improved business processes before, where you have defined and tracked actions across project team members and drove outcomes, while engaging people with solid stakeholder management, presentation & facilitation skills.
• You communicate effectively at all organizational levels, using your influencing skills to ensure focus is given to the most valuable activities.
• Working on projects across the globe within Swiss Re Life & Health, you are a global thinker with affinity to change, willingness to try out new things and to apply new methods and practices. You have an ability to think strategically and "out-of-the-box", provide innovative perspectives and are not shy to engage in new topics.
• You thrive in ambiguity, work with integrity and a positive attitude, willing to learn and connect, flexible to adapt, have a "can-do" approach.
• Qualification: University degree or similar; method know-how to design, execute, and lead projects of varying size and complexity considered a plus (e.g., PMP, PRINCE 2, PROSCI, Agile, Six Sigma).
• Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
