About the role

As a senior engineer on the team, you will apply your well-rounded development skills and familiarity with Cloud technologies to run industry-leading applications. Along with Cloud Architects on the Core Squad, you will help ensure that the applications are secure, scalable, and resilient. Our team works on innovative new products, utilizing a modern development stack and the latest cloud technologies.

Your responsibilities include:

As a QA engineer, you will apply your coding expertise to design and develop all layers of the applications.

You work closely with the Product Manager and the development squad to understand the problems, formulate solution proposals, and evaluate test automation effort and feasibility.

• Design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications
• Involve in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for improved product quality
• Ability to work on multiple projects with different tools and multiple frameworks
• Coordinate with multiple projects and development teams in product development lifecycle to conform end user product and quality requirements as per schedule
• Set quality standards for projects and development teams to ensure product value with improved turn around
• Analyze and prepare key KPIs to monitor product quality for key stakeholders
• Assist in development and execution of test plans and test cases as product design specification for multiple projects and development teams
• Handle performance testing and present results for validating and analysis to Project Teams
• Responsible for managing and guiding the testing team comprises of functional and automation testers
• Adopt modern technologies, trends and relevant standards

• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in test automation.
• You bring along experience in Selenium, Cucumber, REST-assured or other open-source test automation frameworks.
• You understand the principles of REST, modern authentication principles such as OAuth2 and OIDC and can handle these technologies in your automation frameworks.
• Demonstrable ability to use Java, SQL and general database utilities to configure and manipulate automated test scripts and compare baseline and test execution outputs.
• You seek for an efficient test pyramid setup to satisfy the fast feedback loop required in agile software delivery.
• You have strong analytical skills, and take on problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others. You can do this on an abstract level and engage in detail to make sure ideas are realistic and pragmatic.
• Experience working in continuous integration tools like Bamboo or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of reusable object-oriented software design patterns.
• Experience with container technologies is a big plus.
• Good communication and people skills are important.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
