As a Procurement Specialist Strategic Initiatives, you will be a member of Team based in Bratislava that possesses diverse capabilities focused on procurement business process management, departmental practices, and strategic initiatives. To deliver on our goals, we engage with global Procurement community as well as in cross-functional collaboration.
About the role
As a Procurement Specialist Strategic Initiatives, you will be instrumental in facilitating collaboration, stakeholder management as well as managing the standard procurement practices and processes, whilst ensuring any related changes are properly communicated and adopted.
With your engagement in Procurement strategic initiative focused on external spend efficiencies, you will be responsible for:
• Coordinating departmental and cross-functional collaboration meetings
• Tracking, monitoring and following up on completion of essential tasks
• Leading all essential communication and change management activities
• Facilitating key stakeholder management
• Crafting various progress monitoring reports and other types of initiatives materials
• Building new and/or enhancing the existing standard practices and processes, whilst ensuring they are properly socialized and adopted.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of established practices and processes and addressing any gaps
• Designing, maintaining, and continually enhancing purchasing process documentation, whilst ensuring all process changes are properly and timely reflected.
• Driving your own career, performance, and development.
About You
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required at a minimum; in fields such as business administration/management, marketing, communication, or social studies.
Languages:
Excellent English, other language is an advantage
Professional experience and skills required:
• Ideally, more than 5 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement
• You bring experience in building and enhancing various standard procedures and practices
• Your well-developed change management skills allow you to ensure effective socialization and adoption to changes of the key impacted groups
• You have excellent communication skills that enable you to build and/or enhance consistent, easy-to-follow and engaging messages
• Your ability to provide professional advice, expertise and guidance prove proficient level of your consultancy skills
• With your strong interpersonal skills, you can deal comfortably with colleagues and business partners at any levels.
• With your focus on efficiency gains, you strive for simplification
• With you fast adoption at changes, you embrace new challenges with agility and resilience
• You dive into data with ease and emerge with insights that inform decisions and drive success

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1 900 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
