L&H Reinsurance Consultant

If so, then we are looking for you as a new enthusiastic and proactive team member of the global Life & Health Transformation & Initiatives team to shape, implement and manage initiatives across Life & Health Reinsurance. 

About the Role

In this exciting role you will work closely with senior leaders and experts across the globe and across multiple business teams at SwissRe Life & Health Reinsurance. You will act as the driver, helping the teams define improved and more efficient processes, operating models and tools. After you've helped the project team set the direction, you bring the changes to life with your can-do attitude and your project management and change skills.

Topics you will work on range from 

• Creating compelling cases for business change, be it for new reinsurance products, optimized organisational setups or initiatives to improve our operational excellence and the business impact of analytics and IT systems.
• Planning projects to align people around goals, agree on effort, deliverables and timelines to ensure benefits realisation and then getting the 'go' for the project from senior leadership.
• Driving the delivery of the initiatives and transformation projects jointly with the functional experts, leveraging your influencing and people engagement skills.
• Acting as a change agent and driving a partnership attitude across Life & Health teams and units like Sales, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Inforce Management and Operations to help us reach our joint profit and business goals.

About the Team

You will be working in a team of project managers spread across the globe that drive transformation across Life & Health Reinsurance. We are a team of self-starters and our bread-and-butter is improving all angles of our Life & Health business. We're setting up the path of change and then guide project teams with members of all corners of our business to delivering the intended project results.

About You

• You bring along some experience and know-how that helps you achieve these goals. It's quite useful if you have gotten your hands dirty in (re)insurance operations, data analytics, project and/or process management (e.g. agile, lean, PMI, design thinking) before. You're likely to have collected this experience in your current role in a financial services or consulting company based on a university degree in insurance, data & analytics or a related field.
