About the role

Our Insurance Premium Tax team is responsible for verifying, filing and paying insurance premium taxes into 26 European countries on behalf of different Swiss Re entities/branches. Upon joining our team, you will help us bring fresh perspectives and apply knowledge to anticipate and manage risk. This way, you will help us with building smarter solutions for our clients, helping the world rebuild, renew, and move forward. 
 
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build close partnerships with external and internal stakeholders across Europe and to gain in depth Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) and corporate insurance knowledge. 

Key responsibilities:

• Support with analysing, reporting and handling of Insurance Premium Tax transactions within EMEA region 
•  Assisting to internal and external audits 

•  Develop IPT technical knowledge and knowledge of insurance business
•  Analyse business, legal and technical documentation
•  Handling of other ad hoc requests related to IPT 

About you

You have an analytical mind with meticulous attention to detail and enjoy working with data and numbers. You are always eager to learn, prepared to challenge and improve existing ways of doing things. You have excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to work well with the team as well as on your own, while efficiently managing your priorities.

Essentials:

Obtained University degree (preferably finance, accounting, economics) or equivalent relevant work experience 
•   Digital literacy – advanced MS Office user (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)
•   Proficiency in English, any other European language would be advantageous
•   Willingness to learn and gain advanced corporate insurance knowledge

Nice to haves:

• Business Services and Technical Accounting process and tool knowledge

•   Relevant Insurance Premium Tax knowledge

The minimum gross base salary for this role is from 1600 EUR. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits.
