HR Sustainability Reporting Specialist

About the Role

In this role, you will create and coordinate required information related to Group sustainability activities on behalf of the HR function. You will collaborate across Swiss Re to drive and support the activities related to sustainability reporting and other ESG-related requirements on behalf of the HR function such as sustainability reports, surveys, and other disclosures. 

•   Lead, compile and/ or coordinate, across the HR Function, all sustainability related reporting activities on people topics (e.g. annual report, sustainability report, any other legal entity sustainability reporting, questionnaires and surveys)
•   Oversee and consult on other reporting and communication requirements related to Human Resources linked to Sustainability topics (e.g. local regulatory reporting, and other communication external)
•   Support internal sustainability related reports and presentations for the HR function to senior management
•   Collaborate closely with HR Centres of Excellence, HR Partners, Investor Relations, Governance, Legal & Compliance and Communications to ensure accurate and timely submission of required people data and information.
•   Advise and consult on projects and initiative with impact on sustainability reporting capabilities within HR and across the company.
•   Maintains the HR Function's sustainability records in compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations; collaborates with internal subject matter experts, auditors, and others as needed.

About You   

You have an ability to translate requirements into pragmatic solutions and take initiative and ownership to implement them. Your strong interpersonal skills make it easier for you to work within a team and across all levels of the organization. You have strong analytical and research skills, which makes it possible to aggregate data sets, identify important elements and arrive at conclusions. In addition, you are a confident communicator who make sure the message comes across in a concise manner.
 

Essentials:

•   University degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Sustainability a plus, Business Administration, Economics, Law) 
•   Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience within the financial services industry or a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably in a similar role
•   Above average Microsoft office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
•   Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
•   Knowledge of contractual language, regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.

Nice to Haves:

•   Solid editorial and technical writing skills
•   Reporting experience, preferably regarding Human Resources and sustainability topics or in Investor Relations
•   Experienced and comfortable working in a virtual and global environment, with a track record of delivering results in this setting and context
•   Experience or willingness to develop virtual relationships in a multicultural environment, including the desire to learn more about Swiss Re's global operations

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1900 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
