Group Finance Operations & Transformation Management Assistant - Temporary Contract

About the Role
Join Swiss Re and its Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) team as a Management Assistant to the GFO&T leadership team based in Zurich. As part of our dynamic and motivated "Strategy & Office" team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team and the overall department. Your key responsibilities include:
• Provide professional and proactive administrative support to the Leadership of Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) based in Zurich. Manage calendar and organize meetings (internally and externally). Plan and coordinate internal and external meetings and events, such as team meetings, offsites, workshops, team events, visitor arrangement, etc.
• Arrange travel schedules in accordance with Travel and Expenses policy, including planning, booking, visas, and itineraries and provide all documents for meetings/presentations during travels. Prepare and process travel expense reimbursement timely. Prepare, process and ensure purchase orders, invoices and expenses are handled in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with the GFO&T Leadership Team (LT) and all relevant stakeholders to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up where needed. Establish and maintain good relationships with assistants of key internal collaborators as well as other relevant stakeholders
• Support the GFO&T Office Manager in process, administrative and communications related manners. Deputize GFO&T assistants during their absences
About the Team
Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for global Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Group as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re's legal entities, including SST and Solvency 2. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of global finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective forward-looking organization.
About You
You are a motivated, collaborative and entrepreneurially minded individual with a strong interest in kick-starting your career at a leading global reinsurer. You have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are alike. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Higher education or final year of university (ideally in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field)
• Initial, relevant work experience
• Can-do attitude and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations
• Self-organized, structured and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and navigate in multi-faceted stakeholder settings
• Experience in (re)insurance and Finance organizations is beneficial
