You will collaborate closely with the professionals in different functions that will support your professional and personnel development. In a near future, you will be able to learn with us also new IFRS standard which has to be adopted by all our legal entities.
Main tasks
• Steer the analytical information process and review information received from other teams as well as perform analytical procedures for Swiss Stat valuation to understand the legal entity's story line
• Provide comprehensive financial and variance analysis and business commentaries with respect to reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to management and stakeholders requirements
• Support external audit activities and prepare requested information in connection with internal audits
• Prepare on a quarterly or annually basis qualitative reporting to Board of Director, senior management or other internal clients on Swiss Stat valuation as well as reporting to regulatory bodies or other governing authorities on local accounting standards
• Contribute to improve processes and systems to ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements
• Establish a network and closely collaborate with the respective professionals across the organization
About the team
We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join one of our Carrier Reporting & Analysis Services teams in Bratislava. Jointly and in close collaboration with Carrier team in Switzerland, the team plays a pivotal Finance role in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information for Swiss Stat valuation for Swiss based legal entity of Swiss Re.
About you
We would be happy to meet candidates with:
• University degree preferably in finance/accounting/economics and with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge and experience in financial reporting, ideally in the financial industry
• Knowledge of at least one major accounting principles (Swiss GAAP, IFRS)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently with complex details
• Excellent command of the English language
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, knowledge of PowerBi would be advantage
• Willingness to learn new concepts and grow own area of responsibility
• Stress resistant and able to deal with tight deadlines
The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2000 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
