About the Role
This position is part of Finance Data Solutions Hub team within Corporate Solutions' Global FP&A and Reporting finance team. You will play an important role as Lead of this team, setting overall mandate, stakeholder interaction and achieving key objectives.
The team will support other finance stakeholders to enable analysis, insights, automation, digitalization, standardization , closing & reporting activities in relation to performance management/reporting and steering of the regional and product results. We are constantly developing and strengthening our capabilities to act as true business partners and providing insightful and meaningful analysis and reporting to our decision makers. Working within the Finance Corporate Solution team, you will join a highly motivated and dynamic team within an interesting and complex environment and will get the opportunity to build up analytical capabilities to further enhance reporting / visualization.
The team's mandate is to be at the forefront of our technical and analytical capabilities to support Finance and the other business units with high-quality financial insights to help better steer our business. The focus will be around streamlining existing processes and tasks and automating where feasible.

As automation expert, you will have the opportunity to enable corso finance community with automation/digitalization/standardization of processes. This includes data extraction, curation, reconciliation, and bring cost effective measures. This position offers a unique opportunity to get a strong overview of some of the most interesting corporate insurance products of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (coupled with very close collaboration with regional and product teams). Specifically, you can utilize latest technologies and steer like-minded team members to streamline and deliver high quality quarterly closing outputs. You will be able to identify and pursue Transformation and automation opportunities and steer the team in that direction. You have a passion for data and how we use latest technologies to further streamline processes and improve insights.
Your key responsibilities will include to:
Design and develop process improvement solutions to get productivity and quality edge into existing processes
Build quick Proof of Concept through hands on experience with quick turnaround Time
Provide multi facet technical implementable options as business solutions.
Actively Review all the technical implementation of the projects for team members and provide feedback.
Collaborate with global teams and drive cross-functional improvement projects to achieve business efficiency
Assessment of viability and feasibility of Process improvement solution during the ideation stage
Ensure operational excellence by developing rigorous routines for quarterly closings
Ensure proper governance routines are established and followed
Act as collaborative business partner to other finance functions and the business, through delivery of high quality and timely financial information and insights
Proactively drive new business cases for the finance analytics hub to expand its scope
The ability to perform the above tasks with a high degree of autonomy, while leveraging on and working closely with all relevant stakeholders
About You

You have a university degree with a primary or masters’ degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Computer, Information Technology, Information Science).
You have 11-14 years of relevant working experience in Automation / transformation / digitalization Projects
Good knowledge on FP&A and Controlling skills. Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into report/presentations design and processes
Proficient in Data Analytics Tools like Python, Spark, Excel
Well versed with automation tools landscape with hands on experience.
Well Versed and hands on experience in Visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI
Prior Experience in working with Stargate, Py Spark is preferred
Experience in accounting (US GAAP/IFRS)
Good Knowledge about (re)insurance business
Strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Expert in MS Excel including Pivot tables and VBA, Power Automate
Sound SQL skills with ability to query and analyze data; understand data complexity, models and structures
Have very good understanding of DB design Concepts
Experience with data visualization tools and applications such as PowerBI, Tableau, Analytic Data Models, etc.

Self-starter and able to work cohesively with business and finance stakeholders
Fluency in English is mandatory
