About the Team:
Join us as a core member of a new team to build and support modern data analytics platform for Swiss Re's international group of Risk Consulting specialists, who provide risk knowledge to Swiss Re clients around the world.
About the Role:
As an Cloud Engineer, you will be building and supporting this new capability using most advanced Microsoft Azure technology. The platform will provide self-managed project environments for data analysis and data science use cases, allowing collaboration with appropriate data access controls.

Key skills and qualities you bring to this role include:
- Experience with at least some data analytics Azure services, such as PowerBI, Azure Machine Learning, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, databases, and others.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a distinct advantage, but is not required.
- Good practical knowledge of security and networking concepts.
- Building and deploying Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions on Azure.
- Software engineering and DevOps mindset.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,700 and EUR 4,400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you significantly exceed the requirements, the offered salary may be above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
