In every abstract stroke and shading with coloured pencils, Marcia de Moraes is searching for a poetic home for her creations. Her work creates harmony between the techniques she uses – she firstly focuses on sketching graceful, fluid outlines with graphite, before filling in the possibilities she has created with bold colours, where no two shapes or colour combinations are the same.
